We are pleased to announce that the gallery is now open seven days a week, from noon to 6pm. Please come visit us at the gallery and see the exhibition currently on view: "A Selection from our Archives: Photographs by Bob Bonis and Allan Tannenbaum." We've hung some of our favorite images from the last two shows, and we think you'll like what you see.
We are also planning a series of after-hours events this fall, so keep in touch. Some of our favorite artists will be hosting intimate evenings of music, art and conversation.

NBC-TV filmed an interview with Larry Marion about the gallery that aired tonight at 7:30pm and again at 1:00am after Saturday Night Live and is supposed to repeat throughout the week. Take a look....
Last night Not Fade Away Gallery hosted a private party at the gallery to celebrate the opening of the gallery and the unveiling of the Bob Bonis collection. It was truly one of the great NY parties with celebs, photographers and friends and family in attendance. Keith Richard's daughters, Alexandra and Theodora, were the guest DJ's and were later relieved by DJ Mess Kid. Alex and Theo are the sweetest most gracious people I have ever met and we are truly in their debt.
Other people who joined us to celebrate were Steve Van Zandt, legendary guitarist with Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band as well as his own bands and now the radio personality on his Underground Garage network on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 25. Ronnie Spector made a rare public appearance to celebrate with us as did original Woodstock promoter Michael Lang, Scene Club owner Steve Paul, promo man extraordinaire Pete Bennett, world famous photographer Bob Gruen and his wife Elizabeth Gregory-Gruen ( a fine artist in her own right), photographers Leee Black Childers and Chuck Pullin were also in attendance.

We will be exhibiting Patrick's photography in a future show and he will be guest curating exhibits for us, as well.

Today is Sunday, March 1st, 2009. Our opening night preview party is happening in 2 days, but today was the beginning of our publicity campaign to announce the discovery, acquisition and preview of the Bob Bonis Archive, featuring 3,500 unpublished photos of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones that Bob took between 1964 and 1966 when he served as the U.S. tour manager for both bands.
And what a beginning it is. The New York Post ran an exclusive preview of the collection with a great teaser on the front page showing the photo from the exhibit of Beatles' roadie, Mal Evans pointing a toy gun at Ringo's head. The article continued with two full pages of color and black and white photographs from the collection. Our publicist, Carol Klenfner at Susan Blond Inc. did a great job with securing this article to announce the collection.
